Creating an intuitive, user friendly reservation experience

The Talbott Hotel
In 2014, I was the Director of Digital Communications for the Talbott Hotel in Chicago. When redesigning our desktop website, we wanted to go with an elegant, visually appealing style. We chose to fix the booking experience to the left of the screen and allow the photography to shine through at all times.

Custom Booking Engine
One of the most critical pieces to the reservation path is the calendar-like experience where a user inputs the initial information like travel dates, number of guests/rooms, etc.. We added "Minimum Length of Stay" and "No Arrivals" to entice guests to fill our gaps in occupancy.
